Some time ago, I had an idea for shooting a collection of North East landscapes. I wrote to famous people from the region and asked them to choose one very special place, somewhere that held a deep personal meaning for them. The response was fantastic and I've been privileged to meet some great people. The idea became a TV series : A Moment in Time. |
My guests in the series included BBC war reporter Kate Adie, film director Mike Figgis, writer Tom Hadaway, actors Elizabeth Estensen and John Middleton (Emmerdale's Diane and Ashley), Gulf war hostage John Nichol, TV agony aunt and writer Denise Robertson, composer and saxohonist John Harle, opera star Sheila Armstrong and ex-boxer Glenn McCrory. |
